There are three individual cottages that provide separate rooms for up to 23 students who live in the cottage during the week and then may return home to be with their families on the weekends.
Students range in age from 11 to 21 years old. Students are carefully assigned to individual houses based on age, gender and maturity level. The Village is staffed by Residential Social Workers, a large number of whom are Deaf.

Breakfast and lunch are encouraged to be prepared by students independently, with support and close supervision by staff.

Students all take turns in cooking and kitchen duties for dinner. Nutritious food is provided for all the students to make their own lunch to take to school and for snacks after school. The Residential Social Workers help make lunches for the younger students.
