Anderina McLean is currently on maternity leave, and we'll see her back in 2012.

Susan Wallace is the Library Leader and works Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

She completed her Masters degree in Library & Information Services in 2010, and is looking forward to using what she has learnt to make the Library a great place to visit.

Susan emigrated to NZ from the UK with her husband in 2003. She loves visiting West Coast beaches and going on bush walks with the family dog, Xenie. In her spare time you’ll find her knitting or crocheting, or running around after her son.

Sharon Smith is an Assitant Librarian standing in for Anderina until June 2012, and works Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

She has worked in a wide range of libraries and completed her Masters in Library and Information Services in 2006.  Sharon and her family moved to Auckland last year to be closer to extended family.  She enjoys walking, making pottery, gardening and watching her three children playing football
.

Brenda is the Assistant Librarian at Kelston Deaf Education Centre. She also works in the Media Centre, photocopying and laminating resources.

Aroha is the Student Liaison Librarian, and is available in the Library anytime, unless she off visiting the KDEC students.

Before becoming a librarian Aroha lived with her family in the rainforests on the islands of Borneo.  Being an intelligent ape, she wanted to travel to learn about books and find children who would read to her.

Aroha loves cuddles, being read to and most of all she enjoys visiting KDEC students in their classrooms or joining them on trips.
