Community Ear Clinics

Ear Clinics are a free service for pre-school and school age children (birth-18 years of age).

They offer:  
  • Ear health assessments including examination with otomicroscope
  • Tympanometry
  • Removal of wax and foreign bodies
  • Care of discharging ears, grommets and perforations
  • Referral to surgical waiting list for grommets and ENT consultations

Please Note: Hearing tests are not carried out in the ear clinics.

PLEASE NOTE:  An Ear nurse service is not provided at the KDEC Audiology Clinic, however a mobile ear nurse clinic visits KDEC Primary once a term until further notice. This service will be available to KDEC students that are accompanied by a parent.
