Community Ear Clinics
Mobile Ear Clinics are a free service for pre-school and school age children (birth-18 years of age).
They offer:
- Ear health assessments including examination with otomicroscope
- Tympanometry
- Removal of wax and foreign bodies
- Care of discharging ears, grommets and perforations
- Referral to surgical waiting list for grommets and ENT consultations
Please Note: Hearing tests are not carried out in the mobile ear clinics.

PLEASE NOTE: An Ear nurse service is not provided at the KDEC Audiology Clinic, however a mobile ear nurse clinic is planning to visit KDEC once a term for 2009. The first visit will be on Thursday 26th March. This service will be available to KDEC students that are accompanied by a parent.
