The Technology/Archives Team comprises a Computer Resource Teacher, a Network Administrator, a Desktop Publisher, an Archivist and a Projects Co-ordinator.

This is a group of people with very diverse skills working closely together to produce educational materials, maintain museum and archival material and ensure the efficient running of the KDEC network.

If you have an idea for an educational project but have neither the time nor the means to produce it, contact us for a Resource Request Form or download it here.  The team meets on a regular basis to discuss applications and decisions are made based on how well the concept would fit into the KDEC vision, current need, usefulness to a wider audience and project manageability.

The Computer Resource Teacher and Team Leader, provides training and support for professionals (within and external to KDEC) working with Deaf children on relevant aspects of Deaf Education and related education technology.  He provides advice and guidance to the Deaf child and their support team for the use of education technology.  He also develops personalized software designed to meet individual needs to assist in their programme delivery as well as works as a team member developing software and other resources which support the delivery of the curriculum on a more generic level.
